Mendon memories

Every year we go to the Mendon 24th of July celebration! We watch the parade with both grandparents and extended family. Then we go swim at the Jackson's, and stay for the best fireworks in cache valley! What a fun day spent with family!

Also, Ryan and I ran a 10K that same morning!!! My first race! :D
Only one month to go until the 1/2 marathon! :O

Day Dreaming

Some of you may know that I have my degree in Interior Design, so I love to dream up floor plans and critique restaurants. As well as re-decorate my own home at least twice a year. ;) Well, awhile ago some friends in my neighborhood all went to the Parade of homes in cache valley. It was a blast! My favorite home was of course the biggest and most expensive one. LOL
Here is the floor plan how I would change it. I made it a little smaller and added a basement.

Ethan LOVES to throw things; balls, toys, food...ect. Latly he is obsessed with trowing all the shoes down the stares. LOL

6 years and counting!

We got to celebrate our 6th anniversary last weekend at Sherwood hills. While my mom babysat all four kids.
After we checked in we went straight to their workout room. I am on a pretty tight schedule training for the Top of Utah half marathon at the end of Aug. I needed to run five miles over the weekend so we decided to do it first to get it over with.
I ran for an hour on their only treadmill, while Ryan jogged around the room or in place. Talk about torture. He was really nice about it. Then we went swimming and relaxed in the hot tub. I wish I could get in a hot tub after every run! LOL
We were the first ones to eat at their new in house restaurant, it was very nice, the decor and the food. :D
Sat. we ran errands and went to the new Star Tack movie.
All in all it was a great weekend and a nice break from the kids. We need to do it more often. :)

Summer fun!

We have had many fun, crazy, busy and lazy days so far this summer. :) Life is great!
