I felt like it was time for some change...
so I repainted.
It was very tricky with 4 kids helping me.

I got a new table and benches from my Mom
and repainted them...black of course!
I do like color, but with winter coming I needed to lighten things up.
This house needs a lot more windows and
lighting before I can go color again.
Before - I did like this purple.It stretched my creativity to decorate for fall
& Christmas. It was fun while it lasted.
After - Everyone has said how these rooms feel twice as big. It's easier to do seasonal
decorating now with neutral walls.
We will see how long I will last without
being tempted to change something....
New carpet would be nice!

Wow! It looks really good! It does look a lot bigger! I'm excited to see it when we come home. I am painting my living room this week too (Getting rid of the blue sponge that was there before). It sure does take a while with kids - I can't believe you were ever able to get it done with 4 of them! :)
Good choice. I like the new color. I know what you mean about having to change something...;)
