Our family went to the Hogle Zoo for the first time over spring break. It was a hit! We saw tons of animals, got to ride the carousel and the train and played at a park. We lost Daniel once when he left his grandpa to find the wolves outside of the reptile house. And at the end of the day as we were saying goodbye to extended family Russell ran off and climbed up the prairie dog habitat building. (he climbed up the outside all the way to the top and then got stuck climbing back down. A really tall man caught him just as Ryan came around the corner to find him.) I am so grateful that in both cases my kids were kept safe and were found within 15 min. There were hundreds of people at the zoo and anything could have happened to them.
Well, at least they are smart enough not to climb in the tiger cage or something more dangerous. This is another perfect example of why they are nick named DAN-ge-Russ!! LOL

Looks like a lot of Fun! I'm glad everyone stayed safe - i absolutely hate that feeling when you've think you've lost a child! And the post about Ethan and the window is a great one!
